THE NEXT BIG THING BLOG HOP

Welcome to this blog hop.

What is a blog hop? Basically, it’s a way that readers can discover new authors, because with bookstores closing and publishers not promoting new authors as much, we need to find a way to introduce readers to authors they may not see in their local bookstore.

Here you have the chance to find many new authors. Here you’ll find information about me, In this particular hop, I and my fellow authors, in their respective blogs, have answered 10 questions where you get to learn about our current work in progress as well as some insights into our process, from characters and inspirations to plotting and cover decisions. I hope you enjoy it!

I’d like to thank fellow author L.L Hunter for tagging me to participate.I cant wait to read her series called The Legend of the Archangel series, book 1 is named The chronicles of fire and ice, book two is The Chronicles of Blood and Stone is out April 1 Click the link below to find out about her http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/LL-Hunter/110104129132865?fref=ts

Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts and questions. Here is my Next Big Thing!

1: What is the working title of your book?
Fall from Grace: Forgotten Grace

2: Where did the idea come from for the book?
This idea came to me when I was working my day time job (I am a nurse), it was depressing all of the sick people around me, and I thought it would be great to have superpowers to heal the sick and the idea developed from there.
3: What genre does your book come under?
My book comes under the paranormal romance.
4: Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
The main female character Nardia would be played by Camilla Belle
The sexy angel AJ would be played by Ryan Rottman
The gentleman doctor love interest would be played by Timothy Olyphant.
The sexy beautiful flirty nurse would be played by Bonnie Wright

5: What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Nardia is a fallen angel, who had her memory erased than was banished to earth and doesn’t understand why or how she can heal any physical illness with her bare hands.
6: Is your book self-published, published by an independent publisher, or represented by an agency?
Forgotten grace has an offer of publication at this present moment and is reviewing contracts. (Exciting).

7: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
This book took over six months, only due to moving house twice in this time and having to settle family into new environment.
8: What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
That is a hard question, this book has my nursing knowledge thrown in, on the angel side of things one series sticks out for me and that is Inger Iverson’s Few Are Angels series
9: Who or what inspired you to write this book?
My inspiration comes from the wonderful nurses I work with on a daily basis and their devotion to the clients we can for.

10: What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
This book is also a teaching tool into medical illness, and it gives an insight into nursing attitudes and ward culture.

Below you will find authors who will be joining me by blog, next Wednesday. Do be sure to bookmark and add them to your calendars for updates on WIPs and New Releases! Happy Writing and Reading!
